Diagnosis
Scutellum smooth and shiny; vertex with strong and raised reticulation; median propodeum typical: with a deep fovea in front of each submedian groove, fovea distinctly and sharply delimited from anterior margin of submedian groove; median carina strongly expanding towards posterior part; submedian grooves wide and smooth but do not reach posterior margin of propodeum because of expanded median carina; gaster with first tergite smooth and shiny. Saint Kitts, in the West Indies.

Saissetia oleae (Olivier) (Hemiptera: Coccidae) (“L. oleae”) on Spathodea sp. (Bignoniaceae).
